Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you use TV Remote & Smart Cast, including Premium purchases and subscriptions.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Loryana ("Loryana," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your use of TV Remote & Smart Cast (the "App"). By downloading, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement those terms and do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

2. What the App does

The App is an independent utility that allows an iPhone to discover and control compatible Samsung Smart TVs on the same local network. Depending on TV compatibility and purchased access, features may include remote-control buttons, trackpad and number input, text input, voice commands, launching apps already installed on the TV, and casting selected photos or videos.

3. Requirements and compatibility

  • You need a supported iPhone, a compatible TV, and a functioning local Wi-Fi network.
  • The iPhone and TV generally must be connected to the same local network.
  • You must allow the connection request shown by the TV when pairing is required.
  • Some features require Local Network, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Photos, or AirPlay access. You may deny optional permissions, but related features will not work.

TV features and interfaces vary by model, firmware, year, installed applications, and Smart Hub region. We do not guarantee compatibility with every television or media format.

4. Free and Premium access

The App may provide a limited number of free remote actions so you can verify basic compatibility. Continued or unlimited remote use and features such as casting, app shortcuts, or advanced controls may require Premium access. The paywall shown before purchase identifies the features included in the selected offer.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Premium may be offered through weekly, monthly, or annual auto-renewable subscriptions, and may also be offered as a lifetime one-time purchase. Available plans can vary by country, eligibility, or promotional offer. The App displays the plan title, duration, localized price, trial information if applicable, and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase.

  • All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • An auto-renewable subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel it through your Apple Account before renewal.
  • Renewal is charged at the price shown by Apple for the next billing period, subject to any notice or consent Apple requires for price changes.
  • A lifetime purchase is a non-renewing purchase that unlocks the included Premium features for the supported lifetime of the App, subject to these Terms.

6. Trials and promotional offers

A free trial or introductory offer is available only when displayed for your Apple Account and confirmed by Apple. Unless canceled before the trial ends, it converts to the paid auto-renewable subscription shown on the purchase screen. Eligibility is determined by Apple and may be checked through RevenueCat.

7. Managing purchases, cancellation, and refunds

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the paid period. The App includes a Restore Purchases control for eligible purchases made with the same Apple Account.

Apple controls billing, cancellation, and refund decisions. To manage a subscription, use Apple's subscription instructions. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies and must be submitted to Apple.

8. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • Use the App only with TVs and networks you own or are authorized to control.
  • Not use the App to interfere with another person's device, network, or privacy.
  • Not attempt to bypass purchase checks, security controls, or technical limits.
  • Cast only photos, videos, and other media you have the right and permission to use.
  • Comply with applicable law and the terms of Apple and any third-party services you use.

9. Third-party products and trademarks

The App is independently developed by Loryana. Loryana is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Samsung, Apple, or any streaming-service provider. Samsung and the names of third-party applications are trademarks of their respective owners. References to compatible devices or installed applications are used only to describe interoperability and identify a function requested by the user.

The App does not provide, host, or sell streaming content. Launching an installed TV app does not grant access to that service; you remain responsible for any separate account, subscription, or terms required by that provider.

10. License and restrictions

Subject to these Terms and Apple's Usage Rules, Loryana grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.

11. Availability and changes

We may update the App to add, change, or remove features, address security or compatibility, or comply with legal and platform requirements. Features may stop working if Apple, a TV manufacturer, a service provider, firmware, or a local-network interface changes. We may discontinue the App where permitted by law.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, universal TV compatibility, or successful playback of every media format. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loryana will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss resulting from use of or inability to use the App. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by the mandatory laws of your country or region.

14. Suspension or termination

Your right to use the App may end if you materially violate these Terms or misuse the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will continue to apply.

15. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without removing any mandatory consumer protection available where you live. Apple's separate terms determine the law and forum applicable to your relationship with Apple.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the App, purchase options, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
